VET Infrastructure Modernisation is Under Way

In January 2022, experts from the Ukrainian Social Investment Fund (USIF) who are employed by the EU4Skills’ third component “Modernisation of VET Infrastructure in Ukraine” presented the evaluation of the overhaul of the building of Melitopol Higher Vocational School and the selection of procurement services for the development of design estimates for Zaporizhzhia VET schools. A similar assessment is under way for the purchase of agricultural machinery and equipment for the needs of three vocational education institutions: Reshetylivka Vocational Agricultural Lyceum in the name of I. Borovenskoho, Nova Odesa Vocational Agricultural Lyceum, Higher Vocational School #24, Zastavna.

In addition, to draw up environmental and social management plans, USIF has prepared an environmental and social impact assessment for VET institutions in the Vinnytsia and Chernivtsi regions: Vinnytsia Interregional Higher Vocational School, Vinnytsia Higher Vocational School of Services, Chernivtsi Vocational School #8, Chernivtsi Higher Vocational School of Radio Electronics.

The project aims to create a modern VET infrastructure, that contributes to the improvement of the VET image for students end entrants.
